Sustainability Emerging

The word sustainability derived from Latin word ‘sustinere’. Mainly this sustainability depends on three component i.e. social, economy and environment. While sustainable development is a broad concept. In 1987 the Brundtland report gives a concept of sustainable development i.e. development should be fulfilled our present need but not hampered future generation. Now the point is why we think about it? Because today we face many types of pollution which result to suffer present generation as well as future generation. Many debates between developed countries and developing are seen. After UN conference on Human Environment at Stockholm, 1972 reported that poverty is the main problem of human environment. The conference established some policies or solutions to control our environment for the reason of ecodevelopment. Now if we try to develop our economy than it should be required appropriate technology. It means appropriate thinking, tools, place are required for development. As example if we try to develop or rural our rural society then it would be on a small-scale like develop small enterprises, small scale industry (SSI), rural handicraft like blacksmith, pottery, knitting etc. Some Non-government organizations and Government organizations are also trying to develop marketing chains in the process of establishing on an enterprise by them for more sustainability. If we put any type of large industry then the outcomes are not use the rural people as a result we can’t develop our society. If we have small things then we try to make it beautiful. So appropriate technology and science can be made sustainable society. Sustainable society is notable concept because if we make our society as a sustainable then equal distribution is very essential. The seed of sustainable society comes from Brundtland report where it explain as fair distribution, need of food (poverty) and creative things. Overall sustainable development mean there are no limit to develop our technology i.e. innovative thinking, poverty irrigated opportunities (mainly basic need) and also equal opportunities to fulfilled their need and make better life. Sustainable global development is another concept which is related to sustainability. Sustainable global development is linked with global environment change and human well-being. If any of area have rapid grow of population then it will be create pressure on resources, anyone can’t be full filled their needs. Crisis of resources create poverty and it may leads to pollute our human environment. So if we try to irradiate poverty then not only economic growth is needed but also required some changes in politics, democracy. Effective participation or mass participation in decision-making is required for it. It also help to equal distribution of resources. On other hand it also happened that there are huge resources in one group of people but they misuse or waste it. As example we see in marriage house there are lots of food is waste but the street children are not eat every day. So sustainable development is not a harmony concept. It is a process by which we can make a stable environment. It helps to cut exploitation of resources, make path where we use resources properly. So sustainable global development is needed for to make a sustainable society. Now the main argue is that why any common people are follow the sustainable development concept? They do not eat sufficient food or they are not fulfilled their basic need then why they think about it. In Brundtland report says that many of developing countries are argued that “environment protection was a luxury for the rich.” It means when developed countries pollute the environment at that time they not think about it but when we see pollution is overlapped then they blame to developing countries for over population, lack of technologies, infrastructure problem etc. We see the state Jharkhand is the rich sources of natural mineral resources but the other state of India use these resources. Whereas Brundtland report argued that if we try to make a healthy economy than healthy environment is most essential. We see that when economy of a nation is rapidly grow due to heavy industrialization or heavy technologies than it create pollution and it suffer environment, not only that it occurs many type of disease which affect our health i.e. it destroy our social structure. So economical aspect, environmental aspect and social aspect are interrelated to each other.
